Triangle Restaurant News: Another food truck opening brick-and-mortar location

RALEIGH, N.C.Porchetta, one of our Five Fave food trucks, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location! The location, in the food court at the Streets at Southpoint, is expected to open in mid to late May, according to a post on the truck's Twitter page.
A new coffee, beer and wine bar is planning to move into the old Locopops location on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. Liquid State will be located at 1908 Hillsborough St. Triangle Business Journal reports that it will open by early summer.
First Watch, a breakfast and brunch restaurant, has opened a location in Plantation Square at the Triangle Town Center. The address is 6320 Capital Blvd. This is the restaurant's second area location. They also have one on Glenwood Avenue.
Kamado Grille is planning to open on April 27 in the old Lucky 32 location, 832 Spring Forest Road in north Raleigh, according ot the restaurant's Facebook page.
Japanese restaurant Sushi Nikko has opened in Carrboro Plaza, Triangle Food Guy reports.
Some sweet news: The Parlour has reopened after exansions to their shop at 117 Market St. in downtown Durham, according to Twitter and our friend Triangle Explorer aka John Huisman.
Alchemy nightclub and lounge has opened in Raleigh's Glenwood South. The club had its soft opening last weekend and has now officially opened for business at 610 Glenwood Ave.
One closure to note: Butcher Block American Grill has closed on Duran Road in north Raleigh, Triangle Food Guy reports.
Carolina Wing Company off of Creedmoor Road will be celebrating 22 years in business with Customer Appreciation day on Monday, April 13. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 50 customers (18 years and older, dine-in only) will receive 10 free wings.
