Triangle Foodie news: Knightdale is getting a brewery

— Knightdale is getting a brewery! Oak City Brewing Company announced via Facebook this week that it has secured a location at 616 N. First Ave. in downtown. No word on when they plan to open.

More openings

The Blue Note Grill has reopened at its new location at 709 Washington St. in Durham.

Jade Garden Restaurant has reopened at 1207 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh, New Raleigh reports.

A new Mexican restaurant has opened in Wake Forest. El Meson is located at 109 Capcom Ave.

Chanticleer Restaurant & Bakery has opened in Wellington Plaza at the corner of Tryon Road and Cary Parkway. Chanticleer is a Florida-based chain that serves coffee, sandwiches and baked goods.


Coming soon

CineBowl and Grille is getting closer to opening in Cary. The movie theater, bowling alley and restaurant could open as early as next week, representatives told me. It is located at 1140 Parkside Main St.

Neighborhood Bottle Shop in Cary will hold its grand opening celebration on July 11. It is located at 1341 Kildaire Farm Road.

A new restaurant is on the way from the owners of Pulcinella's Italian Restaurant in Durham. Magone Italian Grill and Pizza is set for the Timberlyne Shopping Center at 1129 Weaver Dairy Road in Chapel Hill, according to Triangle Food Guy. The restaurant is hoping to open sometime this month or next.


In the works

Two new restaurants are coming to East Whitaker Road in Raleigh. Triangle Brewing on Twitter reports that Larry's Beans is opening a breakfast restaurant in the same building as BlackJack Brewing. Also, a dinner restaurant is planning to open in the building next to BlackJack.
