RALEIGH, N.C. — Sunday is the Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo. More than 50 trucks will line Fayetteville Street starting at 4 p.m. Pho Nomenal Dumpling will be there. They just finished competing along Route 66 for the Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race. The show premieres on Aug. 23 at 9 p.m. By the season finale, one food truck will win $50,000.
Also coming up this weekend: Knightdale hosts a food truck rodeo at Knightdale Station Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The lineup includes Chick-N-Que, CockADoodleMoo, Cousins Maine Lobster, Full Street Wings Cafe, Jay's Italian Ice, King's Authentic Philly, Stuft, Two Roosters Ice Cream and Virgil's Jamaica.

Coming up:

Make sure to watch Chef Paul Inserra with American Meltdown on the Aug. 23 episode of the Food Network show Cutthroat Kitchen.
And on Aug. 25, look for Chez Moi on "A Few Great Bakeries." The show airs at 9 p.m. on PBS.
Food truck fans will notice something exciting happening at a Downtown Raleigh familiar spot. The Berkeley Café will have what some have called a "Takeover Tuesday." Each Tuesday a food truck chef will takeover the kitchen and present a menu similar to what is found at a pop-up dinner. The food trucks involved currently are Bam Pow Chow, BulKogi, Kocina, Manna and Sol Tacos. The first event will highlight Sol Tacos on Aug. 11.
