Triangle Food Truck News: Mexican food, music at Captain Ponchos' opening

Raleigh, N.C. — Captain Ponchos will open their Southern Village location this week on Thursday. In addition to great, authentic Mexican food there will be live salsa music from Ricardo Diquez at the grand opening. The address is 708 Market St. in Chapel Hill.
On Tuesday, Chez Moi will be featured on "A Few Great Bakeries" at 9 p.m. on PBS. Fans can join Chez Moi at their viewing party at Fullsteam Brewery (726 Rigsbee Ave. in Durham).
If you're in Raleigh Tuesday, join Chef Ryan Jacobson at the Berkley Café. He's part of the Takeover Tuesday series.
On Wednesday, Tan-Durm, an Indian food truck, will have a guest chef, Café Seju. Special menu items prepared by Café Seju will be a mix of Southern cuisine and Indian flavors. The event will be held at Bull McCabe’s (427 W Main St., Durham).
Holly Springs Farmers Market’s Park-it in the Market is Saturday. This is the second food truck rodeo organized by the Holly Springs market for 2015. The farmers market is located on Main Street in downtown Holly Springs, and the rodeo runs from 9 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
An upcoming food truck, Boricua Soul, will preview their cuisine this Saturday at Fullsteam Brewery. Attendees should bring a canned good to donate to the Durham Rescue Mission.
Triangle Beagle Rescue will have their Beers for Beagles II event on Sunday at Lonerider Brewing from 2 to 7 p.m. In addition to a special Peanut Butter Sweet Josie, Bam Pow Chow will be there.
You may find your favorite local food trucks at the Spring Garden Food Truck Festival IV this Sunday in Greensboro starting at 4 p.m. Look for the rodeo at Spring Garden and Chapman.
