Triangle Food Truck News: American Meltdown close to open Durham location

The food truck will be opening a location in the food court at the Streets of Southpoint Mall in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — Got word from HanuTruck that they are partnering with Ms. Mong on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill for a late night pop up izakaya. The pop up izakaya will be called Kumiho and will be on Fridays and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Nothing breaking to report, but took a visit over to the Streets of Southpoint this weekend. It looks like American Meltdown’s food court location is making some serious progress. A date has not been announced, but been told soon!
Down in Fayetteville, the Dogwood Fall Festival food truck festival from 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. In addition to the food truck festival, there will be hay rides, a haunted house and live music and beer.
This Sunday, downtown Garner will host their annual Trick or Eat food truck rodeo. Scheduled Sunday, Oct. 25, this food truck rodeo will have 14 food trucks and three breweries located between Rand Mill and Montague on Main Street in Garner. This is one event you don’t want to miss.
Lastly, as the holiday season is in the distance, you may want to start visiting our local craft markets. This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday, which means Pop Up Sunday at Ornamentea in Raleigh. Food trucks and local beer is usually served here.
