Monday

Bundle up and go ice skating in City Plaza at the Ice Raleigh Outdoor Skating Rink. It's only $10 to skate.
The Footnotes Tap Ensemble will present its annual free Holiday Tap Dance Show at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill at 7 p.m. You can explore the beautiful Christmas decorations on display at the inn following the show.
That's the Joint is a weekly open mic night at The Pinhook in Durham featuring comedy, live music, MCs, producers and more at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.

Tuesday

NOFO @ the Pig will celebrate its 15th anniversary all day today with 15 percent of every sale made between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. donated to the Interfaith Food Shuttle.
At 6 p.m., The Berkeley in Raleigh will host an affordable pop-up dinner (tickets are $10) with New Orleans-inspired flair prepared by Chef Brain Battistella.
Global Eats' monthly events rotate to local restaurants serving non-American cuisine with a goal to build community through trying new food. This month's event takes place at Gonza Tacos Y Tequila on Lead Mine Road in Raleigh from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 at the door.

Glasshalfull in Carrboro is hosting a Riesling Wine Dinner at 7 p.m. The dinner will feature wines from Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt in Germany’s Mosel, Saar, and Ruwer valleys paired with four courses from chef Tony Del Sarto. The cost is $75 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Mash + Lauter in Raleigh will host a Holiday Bottle Share at 7 p.m. Appetizers will be provided, and guests are asked to bring a bottle worthy of sharing and an optional $15 or under unwrapped gift for a white elephant game. A collection of new toy donations for the Helping Hand Mission will be taken at the event.
Ring in the season with the Master Chorale’s most-popular concert of the year, Joy of the Season. The Carolina Brass returns to perform with the 170-voice Chorale and the NCMC Chamber Choir in this festive holiday program of traditional Christmas carols, classical selections and contemporary favorites at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

Wednesday

State of Beer in Raleigh turns two today. To celebrate, they'll host an Ugly Sweater Party from 5 to 10 p.m. complete with a few special kegs.
JoJo, Gnash and Charli XCX will perform at The Ritz in Raleigh at 8 p.m. as part of Pulse FM's Sweater Weather Social show.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra returns to the Triangle tonight with their anticipated holiday show at 7:30 p.m. at the PNC Arena. Tickets start at $45.

This holiday season, shop, dine and enjoy Cameron Village at a later time during Shop Late Til' 8. Participating merchants will stay open late, until 8 p.m., tonight for holiday shoppers. Visiting during these extended hours allows you to enter for a chance to win holiday gifts and fun prizes. This event continues into the weekend.

Thursday

Cary Ballet Company will present their performance of The Nutcracker at 7 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center. Shows start at $20 and will continue through the weekend.
Raleigh Little Theatre will present Cinderella tonight at 7:30 p.m. The show will continue throughout the weekend.
Gavin DeGraw will perform at The Ritz at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
Gavin DeGraw to play Rock 'n' Roll Marathon weekend.
Zack Mexico will perform at The Pinhook at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7.
The highly-anticipated "Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie" opens in many local theaters today. You can check show times in the event listing.
Enjoy an evening of comedy at Comedy Overload - Holiday Edition at Deep South at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.

Friday

NC Event Pics will host a Raleigh Santa Crawl tonight downtown. The event, which benefits children with special needs, starts at My Way Tavern at 7 p.m. and continues through six bars, ending at a popular dance club. A wristband must be purchased in order to participate.
Performances of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical will be at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts through Christmas Eve. Tonight's show starts at 6:30 p.m.
There are plenty of holiday shows in the area this week, and here's another! See Ira David Wood III's A Christmas Carol at DPAC tonight at 7 p.m.
Audiences enjoy the sighs and sounds of "A Christmas Carol," which is celebrating its 40th year in Raleigh.
Don't miss this Scrapiversary party at The Scrap Exhange in Durham -- there will be cake, beer, wine, popcorn, carnival games, costume making, screen printing, make-n-take crafts, a time capsule opening and more between 6 and 9 p.m. as the thrifty craft store celebrates 25 years.
