Triangle Christians celebrate Good Friday
Posted April 14
Raleigh, N.C. — Good Friday is the day Christians remember the suffering of Jesus on the cross. Services were held across the Triangle.
Senior Pastor Andy George shared the message at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Raleigh.
"It really is not just any Friday. It's Good Friday," George said. "It is a message about hope, it's about life, it's about grace, it's about mercy, it's about forgiveness and it's about redemption."
He shared a story at the center of the Christian faith.
"This is a critical time where Jesus comes and gives his life for us and dies on a cross," George said. "Without Good Friday, it's hard to celebrate Easter Sunday."
"Everything is come to life, so really, it's a good celebration for us," George said.
Services around the Triangle will be held through Easter Sunday.
