Train to snarl Fayetteville rush hour
A CSX freight train stretching more than a mile was slated to travel through the Hay Street area at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, snarling rush hour traffic.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A CSX freight train stretching more than a mile was slated to travel through the Hay Street area at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, snarling rush hour traffic.
The train will travel at about 5 mph through Fayetteville and will need to stop in order to switch tracks, police said.
Police urged drivers to expect lengthy delays and to avoid the area if possible.
