Motorists traveling east on Bahama Road needing to access Ellis Chapel Road should use the following  detour: Bahama Road to Stagville Road (S.R. 1615) to Old Oxford Road (S.R. 1004) to Cassam Road (S.R. 1622) to Ellis Chapel Road.

Motorists traveling west will follow that route in reverse. The detour is clearly marked. It is orange on the map below.
