RALEIGH, N.C. — All lanes of Interstate 440 near Capital Boulevard were open again Friday afternoon after some were closed for hours following a tractor-trailer wreck.

Raleigh police said the truck tipped over on the ramp leading to the inner loop as it was attempting to enter the Beltline from southbound Capital Boulevard.

Two of the three lanes on the Inner Beltline near the ramp were closed for nearly four hours as crews cleared the scene. Traffice was backed up for miles.

No other vehicles were involved in the wreck, and there were no serious injuries reported, police said.

The wreck was still under investigation Friday afternoon, and it was still unclear whether charges would be filed.
