Raleigh, N.C. — Motorists may have been a little late to work Tuesday after an accident caused traffic problems on westbound Interstate 40.
At least two vehicles – a pickup truck and a white sedan – were involved in the accident near Hammond Road, authorities said.
Traffic delays extended as far back as the I-40/440 split before crews were able to fully reopen the interstate.
