Site SearchFUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Heavy traffic has forced the state Department of Transportation to change the traffic pattern at Highway 401 at Ten Ten Road in Fuquay-Varina.
A raised median now prevents left turns off Ten Ten Road into the McCullers Crossings Shopping Center.
Drivers used to the old turn in are pulling a number of illegal moves to get around it.
The DOT said drivers need to drive legally because the median is designed for their safety.
