Walnut Street Reopens After Wreck

Cary, N.C. — A portion of Walnut Street was blocked for a few hours Wednesday afternoon following an accident, police said.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Walnut Street and Lawrence Road, police said.

Three people were taken to WakeMed for treatment of injuries. Their conditions were unknown Wednesday afternoon.

Walnut Street reopened to traffic by about 3 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation.

Yes, not bad for commuters but when you get home or to work and read it on the internet it's a little too late don't you think? Terrible wrecks happen all the time all over the place, most are not posted on HERE but some are and I'm not complaining, but there's more for us (as a nation) to worry about than a road that opened because of a wreck or the inattention of some driver, what about the Hezbollah militia terrorist group who have now built a base in South America primarily to Attack the US to protect Iran? They plan to infiltrate through the southern US borders as tourists! We need to wake up and report what this world is coming to!

i went past this one on my way to a meeting - more than a fender bender - it will be amazing if the driver of the auto survived it. Thoughts and prays for those involved.

Maybe we should simply quit reporting internation affairs, human rights, weather, technology, and politics alltogether. It seems like plenty of the folks here would be happy reading about nothing but fender-benders and celebrity dye jobs. Apparently that fodder actually is news.
