I love it when I do the speedlimit and a speeder gets behind me, shakes his/her fist at me then flips me off for DOING the speedlimit. I blow them a kiss and keep goin down the road. Yes, we here in the south have nothing better to do than to rubberneck at anything.

When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Everyone, slow down on your way home today!

So much speculation here, it's almost more useless than sitting in a traffic jam because of an accident.

Don't you folks ever get tired of guessing and assuming??? Don't you realize it's valueless and a waste of your time?

Maybe not! Maybe realizing that comes with maturity. Oh well!

    God bless.

Have traveled extensively from the Mississippi River east. "Rubberneckers" are everywhere, and you all are probably one too whether you admit it or not, so quit blaming this location or that one. It's a waste of your time to post and ours to read.

What's important here is that someone was injured. Praying for them.

    God bless.

I agree with you Gramma...I never could figure out why people slow down to see what they can see...just keep moving instead of making matters worse, causing someone else to wreck, move out of the way for EMS and Police who's timing is upmost important for all involved, etc.

James004, you are partly correct. The technology did not come here because of people moving in (Yanks or anyone else). People move here because the technology and education are here. We started the technology movement, not Yanks, Westerners or Mid-Westerners. But we welcome all of you. Just quit trying to make us what you left. If we want to be what you left, we will move there. Have a great day and welcome to NC.

I try not to bring North and South BS into anything being NC NATIVE. I have read thru some of the funny and rude comments. Every time I travel outside of NC, I holler HELL YEAH when I get back on NC soil. I love it and would not trade it for anything. Best thing I can say, things are the way they are, southern hospitality was created in the Carolinas. If you do not like NC and her people, I-40, I-85 and I-95 are the quickest routes out of NC!!!

I guess the real question here, who was smart enough to know an alternative route to avoid the back up due to the accident?

    >>Cars DON'T drive; they are driven. Just like all the other >>stories about SUVs doing terrible things like running down >>pedestrians and killing kittens, etc.

    Kind of like guns, eh?
