RALEIGH, N.C. — Work crews will temporarily close the Hillsborough Road on-ramp to U.S. 15-501 North Wednesday night.
The N.C. Department of Transportation said the ramp will close while workers install a drainage pipe as part of the Interstate 85 widening project.
The ramp will close at 10 p.m. and will reopen at 6 a.m. Thursday, May 6.
Motorists needing to the on-ramp should use the signed detour Hillsborough Road to Cole Mill Road to I-85/U.S. 15-501 North.
The closure will have no effect on access to U.S. 15-501 South from Hillsborough Road, the N.C. DOT said.
