RALEIGH, N.C. — A number of events will affect traffic patterns in downtown Raleigh on Saturday. The closings will take place in three phases. Times given are approximate.
Phase I -- Inauguration Ceremonies (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) The following street blocks will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Inaugural Parade: Street and intersections will close and reopen as appropriate along the following route: Parade forms at Wilmington St. and North St. and proceeds South on Wilmington St. to Morgan St. West on Morgan St. to Salisbury St. North on Salisbury St. to Lane St. The 100 block on E. Jones St. will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Saturday. Phase II -- Right to Life March (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) Streets and intersections will close and reopen as appropriate along the following route:
Phase III -- Inaugural Activates (5 p.m. to Midnight) The 00 Block of Lenoir St. will be closed between Wilmington St. and Salisbury St.
