DOT Announces Temporary Durham Ramp Closure

DURHAM, N.C. — The

N.C. Department of Transportation

will temporarily close the southbound Interstate 85 entrance ramp at Roxboro Road in Durham County at 3 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9. Signed detours will be in place.

Motorists traveling north on Roxboro Road will use the following signed detour:

  • Club Boulevard to Duke St. to southbound I-85

    • Motorists traveling south on Roxboro Road will use the following signed detour:

  • Markham Avenue to Duke St. to southbound I-85

    • The Duke Street entrance ramp will remain open. The closure will be in place for about 30 days.
