<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Drivers in north Raleigh will start seeing much needed traffic relief this weekend.

Starting Saturday, the North Carolina Department of Transportation will switch traffic to newly constructed lanes on U.S. Highway 401 southbound between Louisburg and Ligon Mill roads.

The move is part of a widening project to alleviate traffic north of Interstate 540.
