Traffic diverted after school bus crash in Morrisville

A few students suffered bumps and bruises Wednesday afternoon when a Wake County school bus carrying 43 students from Davis Drive Middle School was involved in a crash at Morrisville Parkway and Davis Drive, a school district spokeswoman said.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A few students suffered bumps and bruises Wednesday afternoon when a Wake County school bus carrying 43 students from Davis Drive Middle School was involved in a crash at Morrisville Parkway and Davis Drive, a school district spokeswoman said.

Bus No. 481 was rear-ended by a van, according to Lisa Luten, spokeswoman for Wake County public schools.

The Town of Morrisville asked drivers to avoid the intersection through the evening rush hour.
