WRAL "All Traffic, All The Time"
Maybe they could start a daily feature telling us where the mowing crews are going to be.

This is so funny. I have read all the previous comments and I see where some of you make a point to tell WRAL that there are errors with the story. Then I re-read the story and all those little errors have been corrected. I think WRAL needs to out its readers on some sort of payroll. Well I also heard on the radio about an hour ago that both this wreck and the one on 40(involving the inmates) resulted in fatalities. Prayers to everyone involved.

You guys need to read more carefully before making some of your comments. WRAL has both articles correct. And this is not meant to be detail news. If you want detail news watch it at 5:00.

The amazing thing is.....they have not changed the story YET.

So from reading the comments, WRAL didn't use good grammar, they can't get the name of Poole Road correct, and they are showing pictures from another wreck on another road?

N&O's website has 3 prison workers injured in this accident. Not the one at 64 and New Bern, but the one in the photo.

There neds to be a permanent sign when you are heading west on I-440 as you approach the new 264 by pass interchange.

Just after passing under the Poole Rd overpass, there should be signs saying "THRU TRAFFIC USE LEFT 2 LANES". This will allow those exiting onto 264 East and entering from 264 Westbound from jockeying for position while merging.

Why could DOT not see this problem prior to opening the road?

Also, when the wreck initially occurred the car was resting on its top. In the photo it is on its side, indicating that it had been moved. It is a strong possibility that it was one of the work crew people because the orange trash bag is lying in the same space where the car had initially come to rest.
