Tractor-trailers collide, temporarily close I-85 near Oxford
Authorities closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 85 for about two hours Tuesday near Oxford in Granville County after two tractor-trailers collided.

OXFORD, N.C. — Authorities closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 85 for about two hours Tuesday near Oxford in Granville County after two tractor-trailers collided.
One of the trucks overturned, spilling diesel fuel all over the highway, according to the state Department of Transportation. Emergency crews responded to the area, near Exits 202 and 204, about 10:30 p.m.
Highway Patrol troopers said injuries were reported in the wreck, but authorities have not released any other information.
