Wilson, N.C. — Wilson County authorities closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Wilson Thursday morning after a tractor-trailer caught fire near mile marker 123.
No one was injured in the fire, according to State Highway Patrol officials.
Heavy delays are expected in the area until at least 10 a.m. as crews work to move the truck off the highway and clean up the blocked lanes.
Motorists should use U.S. Highway 264 West, at Exit 121, northbound N.C. Highway 581 and northbound N.C. Highway 97 to avoid the closure.
No other information about the cause of the fire was released.
