Triangle babies born on Mother's Day

— The Social Security Administration on Friday released the list of the most popular baby names in North Carolina for 2012.

Emma topped the list for girls, followed by Sophia, Ava, Olivia and Isabella. For boys, William led the list, followed by Mason, Jacob, Elijah and Noah.

Sophia and Jacob were the most popular names nationwide, according to the agency.

    There's no need and talking about a baby's name. I love the name Mason...that's just ignorant! Who cares if one of the Kardashian sisters named their child that. I know of kids older than that with the name!
