Tom Hanks and 6 other celebs who have surprised brides and grooms
Posted October 3
Nothing quite compares to your wedding day. From finally exchanging rings with your sweetheart, to all of the memories of celebrating throughout the day, nothing could possibly have made it better… Unless Tom Hanks decided to crash the party, which is exactly what happened to a newlywed couple in New York this past weekend.
While the recently married Ryan and Elisabeth were in the middle of a photo shoot in Central Park, Tom Hanks saw the bride and groom while he was out for a run. The iconic actor jogged over to the newlyweds to congratulate them and even decided to join in on some of their photos.
Tom then took a selfie with the lucky couple and posted it on Twitter, which gave the priceless wedding photos a viral kick.
Tom isn’t the only celeb who has been an uninvited guest at a wedding. Here are a few other once-in-a-lifetime moments brides and grooms have witnessed on their big day:
Branka Delic, who loves Jon Bon Jovi almost more than she loves her husband, shared a Facebook post a few weeks before her wedding to try and get Bon Jovi to walk her down the aisle. Her family never approved of her fiancé, so she was set to walk herself down the aisle on her big day, until Jon answered her pleas and happily escorted her down the aisle. What a guy!
A lucky couple in Italy was speechless when Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z, were vacationing and happened to come across the couple. They congratulated them and snapped a few photos.
Recently in New Hampshire, Justin Timberlake saw a couple getting their photos taken after they had recently said their vows. He joined them for a quick photo op and congratulated them. Even though he wasn’t dressed for the occasion, he’s still a winner when it comes to class.
Taylor Swift surprised hundreds of guests at a wedding by performing a rendition of her hit, “Blank Space” on a keyboard. Taylor performed the said song in honor of the groom’s mother, who had passed away. The last song her and her son had danced to was “Blank Space.”
While staying in the same hotel as the bride and groom, the international icon was happy to take a photo and gave the couple his best wishes for a great life together.
Bill Murray definitely pulled a Bill Murray move when he photobombed a couple’s engagement photo session. This comedic actor definitely hasn’t lost his knack for laughs. You can read the full hilarious story at CBS.
