Toddler, hit by SUV, dies
A child hit by an SUV driven by her father in the driveway of their Lassiter Mill Road home Friday evening has died, a WakeMed spokeswoman said Saturday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A child hit by an SUV driven by her father in the driveway of their Lassiter Mill Road home Friday evening has died, a WakeMed spokeswoman said Saturday.
John Huebner was backing up a 2006 Land Rover at about 5 mph when he struck Chyler Nicole Huebner, 18 months, according to the wreck report.
Police said that they are continuing to investigate the case and that there are many factors to consider. They will present the findings of the investigation to the Wake County District Attorney's Office, which will decide whether or not to file charges.
