Toddler found dead in Fayetteville apartment

An 18-month-old girl was found dead inside a Fayetteville apartment Thursday afternoon.

Investigators responded to Hunter's Ridge Apartments, 528 Lambert Street, after the girl’s parents found her unresponsive in a bedroom and dialed 911, police said.

Authorities are classifying the case as a death investigation. The child's parents were being questioned by police Thursday afternoon.
