Amen Momee, there was a story earlier in the week that told of a child being impaled on a fence trying to get to a swimming pool. Children always have and always will love water. Instead of pointing blame, pray for all concerned because the sitter already has alot to live with.

We have an above ground pool and my daughter jumped in at 2yrs old! We were outside but with everybody laughing and such we never heard a word. Until... we turned around and she was floating on the bottom. We got her out and she was tired and overwhelmed but in good shape. It scared me to death.. So I feel for this mom. I could not imagine losing my child.
And sometimes not even a fence can keep a curious child out... It sure didn't in my case. So before pointing fingers to charge the babysitter.. Just know that you could be in her shoes right now having to deal with what happened while the child was in her care.

Oh, this breaks my heart. This is every parent's worst nightmare. It must have been the worst phone call ever to receive. I can't even imagine. I am so sorry that this happened and can't imagine the heartbreak of all involved. May you find peace and love in your heart as you try to move forward.
