House appropriators are poised to meet Wednesday afternoon for more work on the budget. Senators will honor former Sen. Harris Blake.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Good morning and welcome to Today@NCCapitol for Wednesday, July 29. Here's what's going on at the General Assembly and around state government.
SENATE: The state Senate is scheduled to finish work on a bill that would make "revenge porn" a felony in some cases and a bill that would keep North Carolina from taking action to implement federal air quality rules. WRAL.com plans to carry the session live at 9:30 a.m. Check the Video Central box on the homepage.
HONORING: Senators are scheduled to honor former Sen. Harris Blake during a 1 p.m. session. Blake died in June of last year.
HOUSE: House members are scheduled to finish work on a bill designed to help restart executions in the state. The session convenes at 11 a.m.
BUDGET: The House Appropriations Committee meets at 1 p.m. and is scheduled to take public comment on the Senate version of the budget.
