Later in the day, Sen. Chad Barefoot, R-Wake, and Rep. Craig Horn, R-Union, will be on hand for a "major education announcement" at the Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center on North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus. The event will feature speakers from both the university system and K-12 system.
