DWI: The Senate Judiciary I Committee meets at 10 a.m. and will take up bills toughening driving restrictions for those who have been convicted of driving while impaired, including that they have no alcohol in their system when behind the wheel. THE HOUSE: Members of the House meet for a 10 a.m. session. They have one bill on the calendar dealing with debt collection.

THE GOVERNOR: Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to make an economic development announcement in Durham at 11 a.m. More details on the announcement are expected after a 9 a.m. meeting of the Commerce Department's Economic Investment Committee.
