RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman who was mugged by three men in downtown Raleigh last year thinks the suspects may have struck again.
Last weekend, Raleigh police arrested four men and charged them with snatching purses at Triangle Town Center.
After hearing what happened to the women at the mall and seeing the mugshots of the men arrested, Annie Britton-Nice believes they are responsible for her January 2016 attack.

"I still can't walk down the street if somebody's behind me. If it's dark and somebody's behind me, I have this awful fear that crawls up my back," she said.

Britton-Nice, the managing partner at the Tir na Nog pub, was hit in the head and the back. She said she still cannot walk down the street alone at night, and has pain in her shoulder from where the muggers tore her briefcase away from her.

"The M.O. is exactly the same with those women that were recently mugged," she said. "They were taken down from a hit across the back, and taken down in the middle of the back. That's exactly the same M.O."

Britton-Nice said she spoke to investigators, and they will look at suspects to see if they may be connected. She hopes that by speaking about it she will help to make sure no one else is hurt.
