Time Warner Service Restored After Outage

Time Warner Cable cable and phone service was restored shortly before 1:30 p.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Time Warner Cable cable and phone service was restored shortly before 1:30 p.m. Viewers reported outages from around noon Saturday.

A Time Warner spokeswoman said an intermittent power surge caused rolling outages lasting 15 minutes across the Triangle. The entire region was not affected at any one time.

Company representatives did not yet have any numbers on how many customers were affected.
