RALEIGH, N.C. — For the second time in two weeks, Time Warner Cable customers in North Carolina experienced an outage Thursday afternoon.

According to Scott Pryzwansky with Time Warner Cable, an issue with a router affected TV, internet, and phone services for a portion of the afternoon. He said the outage lasted for 55 minutes and did not affect all customers as different areas are served with different routers.

"We sincerely apologize for the outage that affected some of our Carolinas customers earlier this afternoon," said Prywansky in a statement. "We know that our customers depend on us for reliable, high-quality service, and we will continue to work hard to deliver the kind of service customers expect and deserve from us."

On Dec. 27, residential and business customers throughout the state were without service for several hours.
