This is not a drop-in whenever you like kind of event. Instead, visitors must purchase tickets for specific 4.5-hour sessions. Already, both Saturday sessions and the Sunday morning session are sold out.

At last check, there was limited availability for the Friday and Sunday afternoon sessions. They are 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday, and 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday.

Tickets, which are $20 for kids ages 3 to 17 and seniors and $22 for adults, are not available at the door for sold-out sessions. Kids two and under are free.

The festival features three-acres of Lego activities, including a model museum, master builder academy, brick battle show and more. It all takes places at the downtown Raleigh Convention Center.
