Posted January 28, 2013

On March 2 at Lincoln Theatre, four North Carolina bands will compete for a cash prize and to become the opening act for the headlining band at Band Together NC's annual spring concert.

Let's meet the bands:

Big Fat Gap - back porch bluegrass

Mac and Juice - Their sound "celebrates rock and jazz with doses of jam and bluegrass elements spun in."

The Beast - Indie hip hop and progressive jazz

The Deluge - Southern Americana and Soul

There are only 100 VIP tickets available in advance. (No VIP tickets will be sold the night of.) For $65, you get dinner provided by Bella Monica and beer and wine provided by R.A. Jeffreys. There are only 100 VIP tickets available
