Cary is gearing up for another season of its Marvelous Music Family Series.

This season begins with "The Nutcracker Suite" performed by the Cary Ballet in December. Then comes the Triangle Wind Ensemble's Music in Motion in January; The Children’s Theatre of Charlotte presents Commedia Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – a new twist on an old story in February; and Paperhand Puppet Intervention takes the stage in May.

Tickets, which are $8 per person, are on sale now. All performances take place at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave.

Families can add on a crafty art class in conjunction with the shows. Kids who register for the classes get premiere seating and a reduced ticket price of $5. Craft class offerings include dwarf disguises as part of Snow White and a puppet palooza before the Paperhand Puppet show.
