Tickets for Raleigh Little Theatre's popular family series, along with its annual holiday show, Cinderella, will go on sale Thursday. Seats, especially, for "Cinderella," will go fast.

"Cinderella," a fun take on the classic story with a holiday twist, will run Dec. 1 to Dec. 17. Tickets are $28 for opening weekend and $33 each for the remaining shows.

The theater's family series has three shows:

"Grace for President the Musical" runs Oct. 13 to Oct. 22 and will be performed at the N.C. Museum of History in downtown Raleigh as renovations take place at RLT's Gaddy-Goodwin Theatre. Based on the popular picture book, here's a description of the show: "One day in class, Grace Campbell discovered that there has never been a female president. “Where are the girls?” she asked, as her third-grade teacher rolls out a poster of all 44 U.S. presidents. Frustrated by the lack of female faces in the White House, Grace decides she wants to be president and inspires a school election." Tickets are $11 for kids 12 and under and $15 for adults.

"Beanstalk! The Musical" is March 16 to April 1, back at the Gaddy-Goodwin Theatre. In fact, it's the first show planned in the space after the renovation. Here's a description: "This fun, family show follows the adventures of Jack, a young boy with his head in the clouds and his nose in a book of fairy tales. Filled with hilarious characters, toe-tapping tunes, and more twists than a climbing vine." Tickets are $12 for kids 12 and under and $18 for adults.

And "Alice @ Wonderland" rounds out the season with shows April 13 to April 22 in Raleigh Little Theatre's Sutton Theatre. Here's a description: " The folly of the 21st century collides with the madness of Wonderland in this rockin’ new musical adaptation that remains fairly faithful to Lewis Carroll’s original tale. Alice is a texting, tweeting, and googling girl of the modern digital era, but she finds herself in the Wonderland of old." Tickets are $12 for kids 12 and under and $18 for adults.

If you plan on going to more than one of the theater's family shows, it might be best to buy a membership, which costs $45 for adults and teens and $32 for kids. So, you save a few dollars per show with the membership package.
