Posted September 5, 2013

Pumpkins are ready for carving at Ken's Produce in Garner on October 15, 2011.

Tickets for the Museum of Life an Sciences' Pumpkin Patch Express go on sale to the general public on Friday.

This very popular Halloween and fall event features a ride on its kiddie train, along with crafts, a pumpkin, games and all-day admission to the the museum. It's $20 per person (and, again, that includes museum admission which is $14 for adults and $10 for kids 3 to 12). Kids under three are free, but will need to sit on a lap on the train.

Because of the event's popularity, the museum has added more train times this year. This event typically sells out. It's scheduled for Oct. 4 to Oct. 6; Oct. 11 to Oct. 13; Oct. 18 to Oct. 20; and Oct. 25 to Oct. 26.
