Ticket pre-sale offer for Carolina Theatre Star Series
Find out how you can grab tickets now, before they go on sale, for any Carolina Theatre Star Series show. The 2012-13 season is filled with acts like comedian Richard Lewis and singer Harry Belafonte.

The Carolina Theatre in Durham is holding a special pre-sale offer through Ticketmaster, allowing you to purchase tickets to any shows in their Star Series before they officially go on sale this Friday.
The Star Series kicks off Sept. 15 with musician John Tesh and ends May 17, 2013, with Stanley Jordan and Kevin Eubanks. The 2012-13 series is sprinkled with a variety of shows, including lectures, dance, comedy and music.
Some highlights:
- Bella Fleck and the Marcus Roberts Trio on Nov. 8
- Dave Koz & Friends Smooth Jazz Christmas on Dec. 1
- Harry Belafonte hosts a film screening and discussion on Feb. 16
- Marc Broussard & the Dirty Dozen Brass Band on Feb. 28
- Comedian Richard Lewis on April 19
- Animal expert Jack Hanna on May 5
