Ticket deal offered for Alvin & the Chipmunks Raleigh show

We have a ticket deal! Get $10 off your tickets by buying them at the box office this Monday through Wednesday. You'll need the password "GoAskMom" to get the deal. The discount brings the price of individual tickets down to $21 and $31 each. That price doesn't include tax and facility fee, but you'll avoid paying Ticketmaster fees by going to the box office.

The box office at the Duke Energy Center, 2 E. South St., Raleigh, is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekdays. Children age 1 and up need their own ticket.

The show is at 2 p.m., Oct. 11. (The 5 p.m. show was canceled).

Here's a description of the show: "Alvin and the Chipmunks LIVE! On Stage, is a dynamic, engaging, interactive, music-filled tour, featuring music by One Direction, Maroon 5, Carly Rae Jepsen, Elvis Presley and more. The Chipmunks are tricked by Ian Hawke to put on a fundraising concert to save Woodstock! However, with Ian managing the concert all might not be what it seems… Join the whole crew as they wind up in hilarious situations during their warm-up tour on their way to Woodstock. From an “old school” break dancing competition, to a no holds barred food fight, you’ll experience it all LIVE on stage!"

The show includes two acts that each are about 40 to 45 minutes and a 15-minute intermission.
