Three taken to hospital following hit-and-run in Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill, N.C. — Three people were taken to local hospitals early Saturday following a hit-and-run in the 1800 block of Fordham Boulevard, Chapel Hill police said.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle wreck at about 2:30 a.m. When they arrived, they learned that a hit-and-run had occurred following the first wreck, and a man had been hit.
The man and two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Chapel Hill police are looking for an Audi with North Carolina tags. It was last seen driving northbound toward Durham, police said.
It was unclear what caused the first wreck, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing.
