VANDER, N.C. — Three people were seriously injured in a shooting that Cumberland County investigators believe happened early Sunday at an after-hours nightclub.

Two men and a woman were found in a vehicle parked at Sunnyside School and John B. Carter roads, said Debbie Tanna, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office. They had been shot multiple times.

The victims, whose identities haven't been released, were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Tanna said investigators believe the shooting took place in a club at 409 John B. Carter Road around 5:25 a.m. After-hours clubs stay open after the law requires them to stop serving alcohol, but stop serving drinks.

Detectives are still piecing together details of the shooting, Tanna said.

Anyone with information about the case should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500 or the TIPSLINE at 910-484-8433 to remain anonymous.
