Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 264 in Zebulon.

<b>ZEBULON, N.C.</b> — Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 264 in Zebulon.

The car ran off the highway, near Gannon Avenue, hit a tree, and then spun around before landing in the woods, troopers said.

Paramedics transported the three car occupants, one child and two adults, to WakeMed for treatment.

Their names and conditions were not available.

No additional information was released by the state Highway Patrol.<br />
