Got a front row seat of the accident coming home from work this evening. There were vehicle pieces south of the intersection on the Cary downtown side. With that, it appears one of the vehicles was travelling south on Harrison. "My guess" would be someone driving north on Harrison was turning left onto Maynard and turned into the path of a southbound vehicle doing at least the 45 mph speed limit.

After detouring thru the Food Lion parking lot to get home, I made a stop at the corner convenience store where the accident happened. The lady working said that was the third accident in the past month at this location. Cary town planners need to look into this intersection and make some kind of a change before someone gets killed.
