Three injured in south Durham shooting

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries late Monday in a shooting near the intersection of N.C. Highway 55 and Carpenter Fletcher Road in south Durham, police said.

— Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries late Monday in a shooting near the intersection of N.C. Highway 55 and Carpenter Fletcher Road in south Durham, police said.

According to investigators, a group of people inside a vehicle fired shots into two other vehicles at about 11:30 p.m. The three people injured in the incident drove themselves to a nearby hospital.

No other information about the incident has been released.

    You said a mouthful! When my children misbehave, I tell them that they better straighten up and fly right or I'm going to TAKE THEM TO DURHAM. They immediately get scared sad looks on their faces and act like little angels for the rest of the day.

    Unusual place for a Durham shooting but it looks like they have migrated down Hwy 55 this time.
