Three injured in separate Durham shootings
Three men were injured Monday in two shootings in Durham, police said.
Posted — UpdatedThe first happened around 3:40 p.m. in the 900 block of West Trinity Avenue. Two men were shot, but were taken to a local hospital before police arrived on the scene. No other information was released.
About two hours later, a 24-year-old man was shot while standing outside a home in the 1000 block of Drew Street. The man, whose name hasn't been releases, was hospitalized with critical injuries, police said.
Police are searching for a newer-model silver or gray Nissan Altima with multiple occupants in the Drew Street shooting.
The two shootings happened less than 2 miles apart, but there was no information indicating that investigators believe they are related.
No charges have been in either case.
