— Three Chatham County men were injured Tuesday night after their car crashed into a garage, the Highway Patrol said.

Around 11:30 p.m., the driver ran off of James Caviness Road and hit a garage with two parked vehicles inside, troopers said.

Investigators said the three men, ranging in age from 18 to 23, were taken to Moore Regional Hospital. One of the men was later transferred to UNC Hospitals. Their names and conditions were not released. Investigators said they are all from the Siler City area.

Investigators believe the driver was going 90 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone. None of the men were wearing seatbelts.

Troopers said the garage was destroyed and one of the vehicles inside was totaled.

The boy who was not expected to make it through the night did, they are slowly going to take him off life support because he started to breathe on his on a little last night, and he has no internal bleeding. He is one of my really good friends and needs all the support he can get. Thank You

Thank you for speaking up rae1977...I saw what that "Desiderata" said and I had to make an account...I know mr/mrs desidrate you are not perfect and you have no right to say stuff like that...one boy is on life support at UNC and is not expected to make it through the night, maybe something like this should happen in your family and see how you feel!

well everyone. Here is what WRAL is not telling you. 2 of the boys are my cousins, the other is my friend's son. He is not expected to make it. My cousins are undergoing surgery as we speak and they are not sure if one of them will live. No, drugs were not involved. They smashed into my neighbor's garage, totaled his wife's Tahoe, possbily totaling his truck, totaled their garage. They are lucky that they didn't smash into his house and kill him and his family. I can't believe that someone would say that they hope they are in "a lot of pain"....they are in pain and all 3 are paying the price. It was a stupid mistake. I'm sure we all have made mistakes in our lives. We just didn't have to pay the price that they may. I hope none of you ever have a kid or family memeber in the same situation. If so, karma will come back to you and get you for what you have said. I am praying for all of the kids involved in this. Lord, help them make it through.

Desiderata - I suppose you've never gone over the speed limit or made any mistakes. You hope they are 'in a lot of pain'? Wow. Just wow.

    Des-
I find your handle ironic when reading your comments.

"Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence."

Desiderata - These were not 'kids' they are men. And, you cannot sue for emotional distress in a case of property damage (and 'loss of property, replacement of garage and vehicles' is actually just one thing).
