Three children escape Raleigh house fire

— Authorities are investigating a house fire that occurred Friday around 3:45 p.m. at 2700 Landis Street in Raleigh.

Officials said three children were in the house at the time of the fire but escaped without injury.

It took firefighters about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control, authorities said.

The Red Cross was assisting nine people at the scene Friday evening.

No further information has been released. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.

    Were the kids alone when the fire started? A family of nine people, seems like one of them should have been home with the kids. I'm glad they are all okay, I wonder if DSS is involved. ...
