Three Charged With Copper Thefts

Three Carthage men were arrested Wednesday for the March 28 theft of construction materials from a location off of Camp Easter Road, near Southern Pines.

CARTHAGE, N.C. — Three Carthage men were arrested Wednesday for the March 28 theft of construction materials from a location off of Camp Easter Road, near Southern Pines. Copper wire, copper water lines, aluminum windows and air condensing units were stolen from the location.

Jacob Robertson, 19, of 632 Mcintosh Road, Benjamin Lynthacum, 21, of 3685 Union Church Road, and Brandon Estelow, 20, 1323 Summer Hill Church Road were charged with breaking and entering, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods.

The three suspects were being held on bond.
