RALEIGH, N.C. — Police on Friday charged three people with the shooting death of a Clayton man last week.

Eric Jarelle Rhome, 21, Patrick Javonne Green, 18, and Tyler DeJohn Montague, 20, have been charged with first-degree murder in the May 12 death of Christopher Ryan Davis, police said.

Davis, 19, was found face-down in front of a parked car near the Battle Ridge at Chastain community, on Guard Hill Drive off Barwell Road.

Police didn't release any information about a motive or any connection between Davis and the accused killers.

Last week, officers handed out fliers door-to-door in the neighborhood searching for leads in the case. It was unknown Friday whether that effort led to the arrests.

The Raleigh Police Fugitive Task Force apprehended the three suspects.
